Kademy began life as an idea at Alex’s kitchen table in leafy Sussex, UK. Having managed training for communications teams for many years, Alex knew there was an opportunity to breathe fresh life into learning and development for comms professionals. Something that reflected not just changes in technology and the nature of learning, but also in the workplace and comms function itself. So, in 2019 she joined forces with some former colleagues from Melcrum and Kademy was turned from an idea into a reality.
Today, we’re lucky to work with many inspiring organisations and as Kademy has grown, we’ve stayed committed to listening to our members and responding quickly to their needs to deliver exceptional learning programmes.

Alex has worked in the communications field for over 12 years and has extensive experience leading world-class professional development programmes.
Katie has been partnering with Communications, L&D and HR teams for almost 11 years to understand and advise on key business challenges.
An entrepreneur in the communications world for over two decades, Victoria was one of the co-founders of Melcrum.
Robin is a serial entrepreneur with hands-on experience in starting, managing and advising high-growth businesses.
Content Strategy & Instructional Design
Julie has worked in professional development for almost 25 years. Her expertise is in adult learning, iterative design, problem-based analysis and course development. Julie holds her M.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction with a specialisation in educational technology.
Jean Burke is an accredited executive coach with over 30 years of experience in communications and change management across public and private sectors. Jean’s style is characterised by empathy for her clients, intellectual curiosity and an aptitude for connecting and working at a deep level to create lasting shifts in perspective and behaviour.
Jenna is an accredited ICF coach and trainer and also brings 20 years of journalism and communications experience to Kademy. She has created and managed global teams for international organisations in the areas of media relations, change management, crisis communications and internal communications.
Ann-Mari Freebairn has 20 years’ marketing and communications experience. She brings warmth, energy, and deep connection to the coaching relationship, as well as the ability to challenge clients and hold them accountable.
Helen is an experienced strategic communication director with expertise in culture and behaviour change. Having advised large, global organisations on employee communication and engagement, Helen provides support and advice to comms leaders to help them successfully navigate times of significant change.
Karen has over 25 years’ experience supporting comms leaders and teams around the world to develop, navigate change and create great results for their organisations. She brings deep presence and a compassionate approach to coaching, helping clients connect with sources of energy, curiosity and authenticity to create sustained change.
An accredited leadership coach, Justine has more than 20 years of senior communications experience in the US and UK. She brings empathy, insight, and challenge to the coaching relationship.

Christie has over 15 years of experience in marketing and communications, leading global teams to deliver engaging and inspiring communications programs to diverse audiences. She specializes in helping teams to “connect the dots” to support the business strategy and employee engagement while demonstrating the value communications brings to the business.
