Approximately one week before the course you’ll get access to the Kademy learning platform. You’ll be able to meet your trainer and fellow participants, explore key resources, and complete some short pre-reading activities. Taking this time in advance will ensure you arrive ready to contribute and get the most out of the workshop experience.

Next, you’ll come together for a live 90-minute virtual workshop to learn why crisis comms is such a critical skill for communicators today. You’ll cover the end-to-end cycle of crisis communications including horizon scanning, identifying and escalating a crisis, and balancing accuracy, reliability and credibility in your responses. The focus for this session will be on knowledge exchange, collaboration, and practical problem-solving to make the time as valuable as possible.

Finally, you’ll receive follow-up materials to continue your learning and have the opportunity to complete a quiz to earn your Certificate of Completion.
